Buy or Rent

This is a question that a DJ must ask themselves.

Renting has the benefit of equipment when needed...plus you can scale to the event.

The other side is owning your own gear which as you can imagine could be quite expensive.

There is a middle ground which is owning your core gear, and renting as needed. I prefer this one and as a result have purchased my core gear. This allows me to provide a solid experience to my customers. If their requirements require more gear, then I rent it.

What are your thoughts? Which side do you fall on in this discussion, and why?

Bringing the beats!
